Manual of Becker Vacuum Pumps
In order for the oil ring vacuum pump to operate effectively, it needs to be checked and maintained periodically to prolong its life and avoid unnecessary damage.
The pump should be kept clean, avoiding dirt, water and foreign objects from entering the pump. To overcome this, it is recommended to install an air filter, a water separator before the pump to prevent factors affecting the pump. Regularly check the pump chamber and clean it if the pump is operated in an environment with contaminants.
Vacuum oil needs to be replaced periodically after the machine's operating time, normally 700-1000h. It is recommended to use genuine BECKER oil to make the pump operate more efficiently and stably, and to change the amount of oil required for the pump to operate at the highest efficiency. Regularly check the oil eye to see if the oil in the pump is satisfactory.
Oil filter and oil separator are regularly checked, cleaned and replaced periodically to ensure that the pump is always clean, the suction / discharge of the pump takes place better.
The vane is an important part that plays a role in determining the vacuum of the pump, the impeller needs to be replaced after a certain period of operation to ensure vacuum pressure and safety when used. Vane worn when running can break, causing jamming, burning the engine and damaging other components.
