How to install the vacuum pump
• Each pump head has an included coupling to fit a motor shaft with the appropriate capacity for the pump head. The pump head and the motor are fixed on the pump base and are driven through this coupling. When mounting, two coaxial devices must be ensured. The pump base must be flat and secured to the ground with four bolts to prevent vibration and displacement.
• The pump head has a suction port on the coupling side, which is connected to an intermediate tank with a volume of 0.3m3, from this medium tank to the chamber to be vacuumed (this intermediate tank has the effect of accumulating water. and sandy soil is sucked out from the suction chamber to avoid sand entering the pump chamber causing the one-way valve in the pump chamber to clog, causing wear of the impeller and the pump chamber plane to reduce the pressure of the pump) at the bottom of the intermediate tank there must be 1 valve to discharge water and sandy soil, on the medium tank mounted pressure gauge. Connection flanges and pipes must be sealed to achieve maximum pressure.
• On the pump head, there is a water inlet Ф21 located below the coupling, this water line is connected to the water tank placed higher than the pump head and there is a valve to lock and open the water supply to the pump head. The water supply to the pump must be water. clean, no oxidizing agents, no silt, mud, etc.
• The electric motor is started in Y/∆ mode through an electrical cabinet consisting of switching and protective devices: aptomat, contactor, thermal relay, phase-loss relay, indicator meters (V), (A) and make sure the power cord is suitable for the motor power.
How to operate the vacuum pump
• Before operating the pump, check whether the pump head rotates smoothly, if it is tight and cannot rotate, use toothed pliers (water pliers) to pair the coupling to smoothly rotate the smooth rotating pump shaft to run. With pump heads that have not been used for a long time, the same must be done before reuse.
• Check whether the motor is running in the correct direction or not, make sure to always supply enough water during the pump run to create a vacuum and cool the pump chamber.
