Cách sửa chữa máy nén khí piston
Machine failure is inevitable, especially with non-stop working machines like air compressors, in this article we will provide you with useful information on how to repair air compressors.
With more than 10 years of experience in the field of air compressors, I would like to summarize the common problems and ways to fix and repair Piston air compressors as follows:
1. The piston compressor suddenly does not work:
What if your air compressor does not have problems that won't work? The only cause is an electrical problem. To be able to fix this error, you need to consider the following issues:
– Voltage source: check if there is a voltage of 380 V or 220 V to the air compressor? Is the fuse damaged in the circuit?
– Pressure switch: You need to check the settings on the air compressor pressure switch and the actual pressure at the air compressor tank. Check the electrical connections on the pressure switch. When pressing the lever, does the air compressor work?
– Low oil level or high temperature protection switch is the piston compressor working properly? For large piston compressors, there will often be a switch to protect the low oil level and high temperature. This will prevent the air compressor from operating. Therefore, to be able to repair the air compressor to make the air compressor work again, it is necessary to reset these protective buttons.
2. The machine makes a loud noise when operating:
To be able to fix this problem, you need to check where this noise comes from?
Are the screw bolts located on the piston compressor body tightened?
Need to check if the belt is loose?
Is the drive pulley loose or not?
– Are the shock absorber rubber soles of the piston compressor product still ok?
– If the loud noise comes from the machine itself, you need to check the lubricating oil level first. If this sound can appear from time to time at a certain frequency then you need to quickly check the inlet and outlet valves and the rings of the air compressor.
– If the sound sounds like a knock, the piston compressor may have a problem with the bearing unit
3. The oil level consumption is quite large
Air compressor oil is definitely lost somewhere. To identify this problem, you need to check for the following issues:
– Air compressor oil leaked at some point. The points that need to be checked are the drain valves, oil lines and oil seals.
Oil is mixed in the compressed air during operation. If this happens, there are the following reasons:
+ Oil level is too high: when the oil level drops below the allowable level, the oil will automatically no longer enter the compressed air.
+ The oil you use is not of the wrong type: maybe the lubricating oil has too low viscosity or is not suitable for reciprocating movements suitable for piston compressors.
+ The temperature during operation of the air compressor is too high: when the temperature is high, the oil viscosity of the air compressor will be reduced, so it will consume more oil.
+ The ring rings are damaged
+ The cylinder surface of the piston air compressor is too worn. This leads to the obvious leakage of machine oil through the compressed air.
4. The air compressor does not generate compression pressure and is bounced through the air filter:
When this is the case, you need to check the inlet valve/plate for damage or blockage. Because if these parts fail, at the up cycle of the piston, the gas will bounce back.
5. The pressure of the machine is very slow due to the low pressure of the machine:
The cause of this problem is that the piston compressor is not at full capacity or there is a large compressed air leak somewhere in the system. What you need to do is:
– Check the internal inlet/outlet valve of the piston compressor
– You need to check the seals at the piston compressor end – Check if the inlet air filter is clogged or not.
6. Air compressor cannot start:
The cause of this problem may be that the load valve is not working. This will result in compressed air remaining in the exhaust manifold resulting in air pressure pushing down on the compressor piston and rendering the engine unable to turn to start.
7. When the air compressor is stopped, air leaks through the idle valve or pressure switch.
To be able to repair the air compressor with the above errors, you need to check if the unloader valve or the pressure switch is damaged?
If the above 2 valves have no problem, then you need to check the check valve located at the air compressor tank because this valve will keep the compressed air pressure in the tank when the air compressor has stopped working, if this valve damaged, compressed air will leak back through the blow off line.
8. Air compressor cylinder temperature is too high
Causes of this problem include:
– The ambient temperature of the air compressor is too high.
– Damaged sealing ring at cylinder head position
– Leaking or dirty suction or discharge valves
9. Water is mixed in the compressed air
Water can be mixed in the compressed air is very normal and that is why people design more water drain valve under the air compressor. If there is water in the compressed air, you need to check to see if there is water in the compressed air.
10. Relay jump due to overheating / overload relay in air compressor
To fix this problem, you need to fix the following problems:
– You need to measure the current when the piston air compressor runs so that it can be compared with the data listed on the engine label to see if there is anything abnormal or not?
– You need to check the mechanics by turning the pulley to see if the piston part of the air compressor rotates smoothly or not?
– You need to check the input voltage of the air compressor. If the voltage is too low, the compressor may result in an overload/overheat condition.
At the same time you need to check the voltage part when the air compressor starts. If the voltage drops a lot, this indicates that the wire is too small for the specified size or that there is some loose or rusted connection.
11. There is a special hissing sound when you start the air compressor
To be able to repair this air compressor error, the main causes are because the product's belt is too loose. You need to recalibrate the belt or replace the air compressor belt with a new one.
