2. AIR DRYER
Currently, there are two main types of air dryers: absorption gas dryers and refrigerant gas dryers.
– For requirements where the dryness of compressed air is not very high with a dew point temperature of 3 – 10 degrees Celsius, choose a flax-agent air dryer. This is also the most commonly used air dryer on the market
– For higher requirements that need absolutely dry compressed air with a dew point temperature of -40 – -60 degrees Celsius, an air dryer that works on the principle of absorption will be selected. This is also the choice of very few factories because the price for this type of air dryer is very expensive.
With refrigerant air dryers, we usually choose the air dryer flow 20% higher than the compressor flow because the air dryer uses part of the compressed air pressure to push the condensate through the automatic drain valve.
The selection of compressed air pipes, electrical cables, and coolers for air dryers is generally simple and is usually indicated in the catalog. Particularly for aptomat, depending on the type of air dryer and capacity, it will use a 3-phase or 1-phase source.
3. FILTER ON AIR COMPRESSOR PIPE
Filtering the air compressor, depending on the compressed air quality requirements, will need less or more filtration levels. Usually there are 5 options:
– If compressed air quality is not required, there is no need to install a filter on the compressor pipeline.
– 1 primary filter on the pipeline with a filter size of 5 Mm
– 2 filters include: 1 coarse filter (1 Mm – filter dust, water) and 1 fine filter ( 0.01 Mm – filter dust, water and oil). This is the option applied in many air compressor systems.
– 3 filters including: 1 primary filter, 1 coarse filter and 1 fine filter.
– 4 filters including: 1 primary filter (5Mm), 1 coarse filter (1Mm), 1 fine filter (0.01 Mm) and 1 activated carbon deodorizing filter (0.003 Mm). This is an option chosen by many factories using oil-free air compressor systems such as pharmaceuticals, food, drinking water ......

4. AIR COMPRESSOR
