6 điều cần nhớ để sử dụng máy nén khí an toàn

Most of the accidents that occur while operating and repairing air compressors are due to failure to follow safety rules, it is necessary to prevent possible accidents.

Are you using an air compressor? Have you been equipped with the knowledge to use an air compressor safely? If you think that the air compressor is a normal machine, every time you use it, you just need to turn it on, then turn it off after use, then you are completely wrong. Air compressors are machines, however, if you do not know how to use an air compressor safely, it is not only dangerous for yourself but also dangerous for those around you. Therefore, if you want to know how to use an air compressor safely, read this article of ours.

6 Things to remember to use an air compressor safely

1. Location:

Choose a clean, dry place with a solid workshop floor to place the Jucal . pneumatic inflator

The maximum ambient temperature at which the motor and compressor can operate is 40oC (104oF), so it must be placed in a well-ventilated place.

2. Engine installation:

Check the power supply as the phase number, voltage and frequency are indicated on the motor's label.

Arrangement of belts in line, perpendicular to the engine

Check the belt tension: The belt should be installed so that when a force (3~4.5)kg is applied in the middle of the belt, a deflection of 10-13 mm is achieved (ie not overstretched).

Note: Over-tightening belts will lead to overload and damage the belt and motor. When the belt is loose, the belt is overheated and the speed is unstable. Change the tension by loosening the motor's tightening bolt and sliding the motor on the base. If necessary, the lever can be used or adjusted on the base of the motorcycle. Therefore, you need to pay attention to the STRAP DO NOT INSTALL TOO TURNS.

3. Wire:

Use wires with a cross section just enough to ensure the motor current without too much voltage loss (a cross section of 01 mm2 of copper wire can load 5A), you can see the section on the use of electric motors.

Use belt guard to completely seal the belt and can be placed towards the wall, the minimum distance for convenient maintenance is 2 feet (approximately 610mm)

Turn off the power switch when not working to prevent the machine from starting unexpectedly.

Release all compressed air pressure in the system before maintenance and repair to ensure safety.

When installing electricity, the overload current protection relay of the motor must not be bypassed.

Do not change the setting to affect the operation of the safety valve.

When anchoring equipment to move, do not over-stretch pipes, wires or containers.

4. Procedure to start the machine:

If the compressor is equipped with an automatic shut-off system (with no-load pressure relay), it automatically idles at start-up and will automatically load after reaching speed. If the air compressor is equipped with a constant speed controller (no-load control valve, no-load control lever) if there is pressure in the discharge pipe, to start the idling the air compressor must be operated. manually after reaching working speed. Of course, the automatic function maintains the operating pressure until the machine stops working.

Close the switch and start the machine. Observe the rotation direction, counterclockwise rotation when viewed from the side of the compressor flywheel for all types of machines. For single-phase machines, the direction of rotation is indicated on the motor label and specified at the place of manufacture. For three-phase machines, if the direction of rotation is not correct, stop the machine and change two of the three phase wires of the motor, then the direction of rotation of the motor will be reversed.

5. Pressure adjustment:

Except for other requirements, the pressure control system has been installed at the Factory:

No-load pressure: 7kg/cm2

Load pressure: 5kg

a) No-load pressure regulation

Loosen the upper locking nut

Turn the idling pressure adjusting bolt clockwise to increase the idling pressure and vice versa to decrease the idling pressure.

Tighten the upper locking nut.

b) Adjust the load pressure

Loosen the lower locking nut

Turn the differential pressure adjustment nut clockwise to decrease pressure, counterclockwise to increase pressure.

Tighten the lower locking nut.

Pressure relay adjustment: 10448976.81

Turn the idling pressure adjusting screw clockwise to increase the idling pressure and vice versa to decrease the idling pressure.

Turn the differential pressure adjustment screw clockwise to decrease pressure, counterclockwise to increase pressure.

6. Maintenance

A good maintenance plan will increase the life of the machine.

Below is the machine maintenance plan (Note: turn off the power before servicing)

a. Daily machine maintenance:

Check and maintain the oil level between the oil gauge glass.

Drain the air tank every 4 or 8 hours depending on the humidity of the air.

Check for vibrations and abnormal noises (see table dealing with abnormalities)

b. Weekly machine protection:

Clean the air filter. Filter glare will directly affect the performance of the machine and lead to overheating and reduced life.

Clean all external events of the machine. Secure the cooling pipes at both ends of the air compressor. The machine will start up to generate unusually high temperatures and the oil is trans-carbon under flexible internal conditions.

Check for safe operation by pulling the ring or necessary.

c. Monthly machine maintenance:

Check the gas system for leaks.

Check oil, change if necessary.

Check belt tension, increase if necessary.

d. Quarterly machine maintenance:

Change oil.

Check the valves. Clean soot at valves and engine head.

Check and tighten all bolts, nuts, etc. if necessary.

Check the idle mode of the machine.

e. Perform machine lubrication

Use SAE 20 oil in winter, SAE 30 in summer.

Using reasonable oil, the speed (rpm) of the machine will be achieved as desired, within the speed limit.

Maintain the oil level always between the limit and the lower limit of the oil gauge.

Stop the machine, put (fill) oil in.

Do not pour oil above the upper limit and do not operate the machine when the oil is below the lower limit.

Change the oil for the first 100 working hours and 1000 hours for the next or as specified. Can be replaced earlier than usual in poorly ventilated and humid conditions.
