PCD dryers (Process Chiller-Dryer) are dedicated to specific manufacturing divisions, where it is necessary a compressed air temperature equal to Dew-Point, as injection molding industry or food cold pressing process, etc.
FOR COLD AIR OUTLET
This series is equipped with a single air-torefrigerant heat exchanger (also called evaporator). Inlet air (warm and humid) exchanges heat with the refrigerant in counter flow and it quickly cools down. Cold air, before leaving the dryer, is drawn into a demisted separator where condense is collected and drained out from the system.
Compressed air exits temperature is near to dewpoint temperature.
