Boosters - screw boosters

Airpol piston booster compressors and screw booster compressors are designed to increase air pressure up to 40 bar. They are widely used wherever devices need to be supplied with different pressures when there is low pressure air which requires additional compression from the value of about 7 bar to 25 bar ÷ 40 bar.

Application of compressed air booster compressors:

  • production of PET bottles
  • measuring pneumatic and hydraulic machines tightness
  • as a starter compressor for large diesel engines
  • spray technologies in wood and glass processing
  • control and process air

Piston booster compressors are used for compressing the air fed from the screw compressor from 0.7 MPa to the maximum pressure between 2.5 ÷ 4.0 MPa.

These are low-speed, single-stage, air-cooled, V-shaped two-cylinder compressors. These devices are virtually maintenance-free, they are fully automatic, protected against the loss or lack of lubrication. They are designed for high load and continuous operation.

The controller of piston booster compressors can operate in local or remote mode, and is equipped with a central PLC and operator panel for monitoring the operation and setting parameters. It serves primarily such tasks as power supply control, motor overload protection, oil pressure check, suction pressure check, protection against excessive air pressure, switching booster compressor on and off, control of solenoid valves, measurement of air pressure.

These devices, like piston booster compressors, are designed to increase air pressure to 40 bar. They are designed for high load and continuous operation.

Oil-injected screw booster compressors are very flexible, and with double separation of oil and air aftercooler they provide high quality air. Low sensitivity to air pressure drops on the supply side is due to oil-injected airend assemblies that adapt to the current compression ratio. Screw booster compressors ensure quiet, vibration-free operation (thanks to the soundproof housing and vibration dampers). Easy to service, fully automatic operation, microprocessor controller as well as control and safety sensors provide a high level of operating comfort. The additional advantage of booster compressors is the possibility of energy recovery in the form of a stream of warm air or hot water (optional). In addition to the standard control with idle speed, it is also possible to use a frequency converter (motor variable speed).
